Throughout the state, there are many different types of gay shows in Florida. Here is a brief list of shows that you can find in the Sunshine state, but really, the choices are numerous. A very popular Gay Show in Florida is the Gay Rodeo. The Florida Gay Rodeo Association is growing in numbers and hosts Rodeos throughout the year. Usually there is a pre-Rodeo party at a designated hotel, the Rodeo, a Southernmost Hoedown at night to celebrate the days festivities, and an awards ceremony on Sunday. The events are the same as all other Rodeos, with maybe the exception of the “Steer Decorating” competition. To see a list of upcoming events, check out this website.

If you consider yourself a Bear or Bear Admirer, there is a very busy group and fun called the GatorBears located in Gainesville, although they do excursions throughout the state. This group knows how to party, and they constantly update their upcoming event calendar. If you would be interested in meeting up with the GatorBears, check this website for a list of parties and events they will be attending.

There are countless drag shows in Florida. The best cities to watch a show would be Key West, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Panama City, Clearwater, Ybor City, and Orlando.
